I want a fun tiny & cheap rwd car. Ideally a fiat 500, (so I can turn my 2 car garage into a 3 car garage) any one have any good suggestions?
Random 2002 I saw around Annapolis a while back for your time

I think that may work, might be a little on the big side for what I want tho, but parts are cheap and they can be found pretty easy.

What about a Smartabusa?
Not sure, but you might get the Twingo in new-Smart Four guise.

May, still This would be car #4 so the budget is super small. (So super small car!)

Oh, and if you’re up for an import, I have an idea. Reliant Kitten.
Weighs all of 1100lbs stock, so you have endless tuning potential.

It’s small enough to take as hand luggage, I think.

You can usually figure about $2,000-3,000 on top of the purchase price for coast to coast delivery and the fees associated.

They’re not too bad. Usually from $6k -$15k.

Slightly above my budget, but I'm planning on looking for something to fix up so I'm adding this to the list!

That’s a good idea, its one of the few small FWD cars I would think of grabbing instead of a small RWD car

Tiny and RWD? Hmmm...
Volvo 145?
Messerschmitt?
Pinto? Gremlin? Pacer? (the AMCs were RWD, right?)
sm70- why not Duesenberg?

In that case, I’ve seen plenty of project cars in the $2k-$5k range.

I was thinking about doing something like that with a 500 if I could find one for a decent price, so yes that is on the table ( this is something for like summer next year but looking though my options now so I can plan!
